"The Collective Brew”

We call our monthly donors “The Collective Brew”.

A hot cup of tea is always on the frontlines of our offer of hospitality. It makes people feel welcome, and comfortable and gives them a reason to stay. When people stay, they connect. They connect with each other, with our staff, and with a community that truly cares about them.

I feel good knowing that my monthly donations are providing The Kettle Society with a vital source of stable funding to ensure they continue to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people who have nowhere else to turn.
— Steven Theobald, Monthly Donor

Together for Mental Health

We invite you to join our monthly giving program and become a member of The Collective Brew.

Monthly giving is affordable, flexible, effective and convenient. By spreading your donations out during the year, you are providing us with a dependable base of support. This ensures your donation is invested in long-term projects to benefit vulnerable people.

When you join The Kettle’s Collective, you will join a community of people who care and ensure sustainability of our programs from outreach, advocacy, supported housing, employment and community services.

Henry’s Story

Henry has had addiction issues in the past. Now living at Kettle on Burrard, Henry has a long history of engagement with The Kettle, from volunteering in our kitchen to dressing up as Santa every Christmas.

“The Kettle has supported me in all ways. I was diagnosed 19 years ago with borderline paranoid schizophrenia. Many people want to keep me away but the staff at The Kettle want to bring you in. They want to hear your story. They want to listen to you!”
