Homeless outreach program
The Kettle’s Homeless Outreach Program (HOP) is open to anyone who is experiencing homelessness, or is at risk of homelessness. We help people to address immediate physical and safety needs by providing food and water, warm clothing, undergarments, shoes, and outdoor living supplies.
Vancouver is experiencing an unprecedented housing crisis. Using their extensive knowledge of local housing options, our HOP workers do their best to assist people in finding housing. If immediate shelter is needed, our HOP team may be able to help people find placements in shelters and Single Room Occupancy units (SRO’s). Our Community Living Support worker can assist in filling out and filing housing applications, as well as make referrals.
HOP provides:

Vulnerable people need our help.
COVID-19’s global outbreak has impacted all of our lives. It’s been devastating for each vulnerable person who doesn’t have a warm place to self-isolate, a safe place to sleep, family to support them or a hot meal.
Your compassion can transform the lives of people living with mental illness, substance use, poverty, and/or homelessness. Your support will provide life-changing services to people at their most vulnerable moments.
They need us now more than ever.
We promise to honor your generosity and use your donation in the most effective way possible.
