The Steam Podcast

The genesis and idea for the Steam Podcast had been percolating since July 2023 when a few Recovery Café members were talking at a members’ meeting about starting a podcast examining issues surrounding recovery. The original idea to livestream content was replaced by a recorded podcast format and in September of 2023 The Steam Podcast became a reality.

The Steam Team meets weekly to develop themes, content, production ideas and participation. We stay true to our mission to incite (positivity), inform (hearts and minds) and include (us all) and to demonstrate our commitment to the guiding principles of the Recovery Café.

Within the Steam Team we like to say: Everyone counts and everyone is counted on.
