Maintenance Worker - Taylor Manor - Full Time
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure & Facilities or designated, the Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair related to buildings and equipment; performs routine preventative maintenance duties within the building.

Salary & Compensation:
$25.18 to $26.84 per hour plus benefits
Duties:
Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical and plumbing maintenance and repair
Ability to track receipts and maintain a balanced petty cash float
Ability to appropriately complete work orders
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work with people with a mental illness
Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
Ability to organize and prioritize
Ability to operate related equipment
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12.
Two years recent related experience. Or an equivalent combination of education training and experience (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry or painting consistent with applicable codes and regulations).
Valid Basic First Aid, WHMIS and Mental Health First Aid
Abilities & Skills:
