Create a life-changing legacy.

Leaving a charitable will bequest is one of the most valuable AND thoughtful gifts that you can choose to make. Including charitable giving within your will also comes with significant tax advantages. A charitable will bequest can reduce taxes owing once passed away. This results in an increase of the inheritances to loved ones.

Your legacy gift to The Kettle will live on and continue to make a difference in the lives of people with mental illness, mental health problems, poverty, and homelessness by providing:

  • A mental health Drop-In Centre that provides meals every day of the year
  • Homeless Outreach Program that provides clothing, outdoor living supplies, and connections to immediate and long-term housing
  • Mental Health Outreach and Advocacy services
  • Supportive housing across Vancouver
  • Supported employment
  • A transition home for women who have experienced domestic violence

Gifts can also be made through:

  • Naming The Kettle Society as beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or RRSP or RRIF
  • Giving a gift of stocks or shares
  • Creating a charitable trust
