Conquering Waves wins Bronze at the 2009 Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival held in June in Vancouver! For five years now, the Conquering Waves dragon boat team has been challenging the stigma of mental illness by bringing together individuals living with mental illness, their friends and families to compete in the dragon boat festival.

The team is sponsored by The Kettle and the BC Schizophrenia Society – Vancouver/Richmond Branch. Congratulations to Conquering Waves!
