Supported Independent Living (SIL) Program

Support Housing ProgramsThe SIL program allows individuals to live independently in a subsidized rental apartment. The supported housing programs are designed to give individuals the ability to choose the neighborhood they wish to live in, within their own self-contained apartment. Each client works with an outreach support worker to assist them in succeeding at their self-determined goals and enhancing their quality of life. The outcome goals are to maximize independence by acquiring or maintaining personal confidence, social supports and skills for daily living. This will assist individuals to move along the continuum of housing to the level of support that they need to maximize their quality of life.

Super SIL Program

The SUPER SIL program is similar to the SIL program with a greater level of support. The SUPER SIL program can offer support up to a maximum support during crisis of 3 to 5 times a week.
