Friendship CourtThe Kettle Community Living Support Coordinator offers no-barrier assistance to those community individuals who have fallen through the cracks. This position assisted over 2,500 individuals last year, including over 400 individuals who were homeless and over 1,000 individuals who were at risk of becoming homeless. This position also offered over 50 individuals access to much needed mental health support, drug and alcohol support, and assisted with individuals at risk of suicide. This service also assists with landlord tenancy issues, housing search, and a roommate matching service.

The Kettle offers 200 supported housing units with varying degrees of support needs. All of these community based housing options come with the support of mental health worker to assist clients with maintaining their housing, life skills training and other support, including a medication monitoring program. The Kettle supported housing program has successfully assisted 15 clients to move towards more independence and enhanced quality of life this year.
